Account and billing FAQ
Your AirwayLab account, plan and data in plain words. Sign in, see what is stored, check the plans, and cancel or delete your account whenever you want. Most answers below take one step in Account Settings, which opens from your account menu at the top of the page once you are signed in. Prices and the current plan features are on the pricing page, and how your data is handled is in the privacy policy. If something here does not match what you see, tell us on the contact page.
Signing in
How do I sign in to AirwayLab?
You sign in to AirwayLab with your email address. Press Sign in at the top of any AirwayLab page, enter your email and press Send magic link, then open the emailed link in the same browser. If you set a password in Account Settings, choose Use a password instead. There is no separate login page.
My AirwayLab sign-in link says it expired or was already used. What should I do?
AirwayLab sign-in links work once and expire quickly, so an older or already used link no longer works. Request a fresh link from the browser where you use AirwayLab, then open it in that same browser soon after it arrives. If sign-in keeps failing, contact us through the contact page on the AirwayLab website.
I opened the AirwayLab sign-in link on another device and it failed. Why?
An AirwayLab sign-in link may not work in a different browser from the one where you asked for it. An email app's built-in browser counts as a different browser. Request a new link on the device and browser where you want to use AirwayLab, then open the email there. If you set a password, you can sign in with it on any device.
Your data
Is my sleep data stored when I create an AirwayLab account?
AirwayLab analyses your SD card in your browser. When you are signed in, your analysis results are saved to your account on EU servers. Your SD card files are backed up only after you turn on cloud backup, and the Cloud backup switch in Account Settings turns it off again. Turning it off does not delete files already stored, deleting your account does.
Can I download a copy of my AirwayLab data?
Yes. Sign in to AirwayLab, open Account Settings and press Download my data. You get a file with your full analysis plus links to every SD card file AirwayLab stores for you. The links stop working about ten minutes after the download, so save the files you want soon after. The button shows once you have stored files or nights.
Plans
What is the difference between the AirwayLab plans?
AirwayLab has a free Community plan and two paid plans, Supporter and Champion. The paid plans add features such as deeper AI insights and PDF reports. The feature list and prices change over time, so the AirwayLab pricing page is the place to check what each plan includes today.
Trial
How does the AirwayLab free trial work?
The AirwayLab free trial lasts 7 days and is offered on the Supporter monthly plan only. You add a card when you start it. Cancel before the 7 days are up and you are not charged. Each account can use the trial once, and after that, choosing the Supporter monthly plan starts a regular paid plan with no trial.
Changing or cancelling
How do I change or cancel my AirwayLab plan?
Sign in to AirwayLab, open Account Settings and press Manage subscription. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can change your plan, update your card or cancel. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, so you keep your paid features until then.
What happens to my nights in AirwayLab after I cancel?
Cancelling a paid AirwayLab plan does not delete your nights or files. When the paid period ends, your account moves to the free Community plan, and every night you uploaded stays stored on every plan. If you subscribe again later, the paid features come back. Deleting your account is a separate step in Account Settings.
I already have a paid AirwayLab plan, so why does upgrading open a billing page?
AirwayLab allows one active paid subscription per account. If you already have one, an upgrade sends you to the Stripe billing portal instead of starting a second checkout, so you do not end up with two paid plans. In the portal you can change your plan or how often you pay.
Deleting your account
How do I delete my AirwayLab account?
Sign in to AirwayLab, open Account Settings, press Delete my account and confirm. An active paid plan is cancelled first, straight away, and you are not billed again. AirwayLab then removes your account, uploaded SD card files, stored analysis results and share links. If the plan cannot be cancelled, nothing is deleted. Deletion cannot be undone. The privacy policy explains what is kept after deletion.
What happens to my AirwayLab research contributions when I delete my account?
AirwayLab research sharing is off unless you turn it on, and you control it in Account Settings. If you delete your account, anonymised research contributions you already made are kept for research. They hold no name or email, and the link to your account is removed. Raw device files you shared for research are deleted with your account.
